Sébastian Vivas to Lecture at the Horological Society of New York
Sébastian Vivas, director of the Audemars Piguet Museum since 2012, will deliver a lecture at the Horological Society of New York on March 2, 2026. The talk will delve into the history and operations of the Audemars Piguet brand, including how the Heritage team organizes and studies the brand's archives, the principles behind restoration, and the strategies guiding auction purchases. Vivas brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as Heritage Manager at Jaeger-LeCoultre and contributing to numerous exhibitions and publications related to watchmaking. The lecture will take place at the General Society Library in Midtown Manhattan, with limited seating available for members and the general public. Tickets will be released in phases starting February 24, 2026, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP promptly.
