Serica Introduces the New Parade "Linen"
Serica has unveiled the new Parade "Linen" collection at the Windup Watch Fair in New York City, a strategic venue for watch brands to connect with enthusiasts. The Parade line, which debuted last year, is characterized by its unique "stadium" shaped case inspired by Roman architecture, offering 100 meters of water resistance while maintaining a slim profile of just 8.2mm. The new Ref. 1174 Linen features textured linen dials available in Slate and Tobacco colorways, enhancing the watch's visual appeal while keeping branding minimal. The linen dials evoke a vintage feel, reminiscent of classic Rolex Datejust models, and present a more dynamic alternative to traditional glossy finishes. This design choice not only allows for casual wear but also maintains a connection to the 1970s aesthetic, aligning well with the overall Serica design philosophy. The new watches operate on the same Soprod movement as previous models and are priced at $1,767, with shipping expected in mid-November.
