Sheffield Launches Limited-Edition Chronograph to Support Scholarship
Sheffield has released a limited‑edition chronograph called Brian’s Sheffield to support the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation. The watch, inspired by the Green Bay Packers‑themed timepiece given to Brian LaViolette at age four, features a sunburst green dial, gold‑tone hands, a 42 mm stainless‑steel case, and a Seiko VK64 mecha‑quartz movement. Priced at $258, each purchase contributes $100 directly to the scholarship fund, which has already awarded over 1,200 scholarships worldwide. The collaboration stems from a personal connection: founder Jay Turkbas grew up in Minneapolis, where his first watch was a Sheffield piece that sparked his lifelong passion for horology. Together with Doug LaViolette, founder of the scholarship foundation, and photographer Ty Alexander, who helped design the edition, the project merges regional ties and shared enthusiasm for watches, offering only 95 pieces to raise awareness and funds for the cause.
