Split Watches has launched its latest creation, In The Skies, a groundbreaking full-glow chronograph that marks the culmination of the MC series. This watch, developed over 18 months, is notable for being the brand's first fully luminescent model and the first of its kind to go into full production. Designed with purpose and authenticity in mind, In The Skies boasts a bold industrial aesthetic, eschewing unnecessary embellishments in favor of functionality. The watch features a bi-compax automatic chronograph movement from the Seiko family, housed in a durable case made from Split’s proprietary Ceramod+ material. What sets In The Skies apart is its unique luminosity, achieved by infusing Japanese luminous powder directly into the watch's materials during production. With a case diameter of 42mm and limited to only 250 pieces, each priced at £1,800 including VAT, the watch combines innovation with a commitment to social responsibility, as a portion of each sale supports therapy hours in partnership with the Anna Freud Centre. This release not only emphasizes technical prowess but also aligns with the brand's ethos of giving back to the community.
