Studio Underd0g buys Horologium and may open stores
Studio Underd0g has acquired Horologium, a UK-based firm that assembles and provides after-sales services for its watches. Having previously held a minority stake since July 2024, Studio Underd0g completed the purchase on December 3, 2025, although the financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed. Horologium, established in 2020, has collaborated with various independent watchmakers, generating approximately 90% of its annual revenue from Studio Underd0g. The acquisition is expected to enhance operational efficiency and open new avenues for customer engagement. The integration of Horologium allows Studio Underd0g to potentially explore the establishment of a showroom, offering clients a hands-on assembly experience. Founder Richard Benc expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities this acquisition brings, emphasizing the chance to provide customers with insight into the assembly process and the quality of work performed by the team. Currently, Horologium assembles between 1,000 and 1,200 watches each month, with plans for a leadership transition in early 2026 that aims to retain the existing technical team for continuity.
