Swedish start-up Neumann unveils classic Automatic Collection

Swedish start-up Neumann, founded by husband and wife team Rebecka and Thomas Neumann, has unveiled its classic Automatic Collection, which draws inspiration from mid-century styles. Their first collection, Initial No.1, features quartz movements and is priced between $561 and $583. The brand is now crowdfunding its second collection of mechanical automatic watches on Kickstarter, aiming to produce sustainable timepieces inspired by personal memories and a commitment to quality and functionality. The Automatic Collection incorporates the precision of a Sellita SW200-1A movement, with a design that reflects Swedish aesthetics and vintage influences. The watches are available in 38mm sizes with honeycomb dials in timeless colors, initially priced at $1,350 but offered at a 40% discount for early Kickstarter backers. Deliveries are expected to begin in May 2026, as the brand continues to sell directly to consumers and through retail partners in Sweden, Belgium, and Canada.
