The new TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph
The TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph has been introduced as a high-tech timepiece that incorporates the advanced rattrapante chronograph movement into the Carrera lineup. Crafted from grade 5 titanium, the 42mm case features a striking translucent sapphire dial that highlights its inner mechanics while maintaining a classic layout. The watch offers a dynamic visual experience with its three sapphire subdials and a tachymeter scale that ensures accuracy. It operates with a discreet pusher for the split-seconds mechanism and showcases a sapphire display caseback that reveals the intricate movement. Powered by the Calibre TH81-01, this automatic chronograph movement boasts a 36,000 vibrations per hour rate and a 65-hour power reserve, featuring over 350 components and titanium bridges for weight reduction. The finishing details elevate its luxury status, including hand-bevelled edges and a distinct TAG Heuer rotor. Set to be available from June 2026 at a price of CHF 110,000, the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph combines cutting-edge technology with iconic design elements, presented on a black rubber strap with red stitching for added style.
