The SPB525 showcases an 'ai-iro' indigo dial, inspired by traditional Japanese silk, offering a high-contrast display with a date function. In contrast, the SPB527 features a striking sun-ray finish, a 24-hour counter, and an open-heart balance, showcasing the intricate mechanics of the watch. Both models are powered by Seiko's robust 6R series automatic movements, providing a power reserve of 72 hours and the option for manual winding. They come with stainless steel cases treated for durability, complemented by finely crafted seven-link bracelets that blend brushed and polished finishes.
