Timepieces with a mission: Split Watches launches to champion mental health awareness
Split Watches has launched a new luxury watch collection aimed at promoting mental health awareness, inspired by the founder Ed Margulies' personal struggles. With extensive experience in the watch industry, Margulies shifted his focus from traditional business to a mission-driven approach, creating timepieces that not only feature distinct design elements but also serve as conversation starters about mental health. Each model in the MC collection is crafted with high-quality materials, including fused ceramic and FKM rubber straps, and is available in various colorways with customizable options. The collection features a unique design with hands set at 7.23, symbolizing a 'brave face' and moving away from conventional settings. To further its mission, Split Watches will donate one hour of therapy to The Anna Freud Centre for each watch sold, highlighting the brand's commitment to mental health. Limited to just 250 pieces per model, the timepieces are priced at £1,800 and aim to foster connection and community in a digitally disconnected world.
