Tudor Opens Its Supply Chain
Tudor has opened up its supply chain, providing a rare glimpse into the watch manufacturing process by allowing access to several suppliers essential for producing their timepieces. During a two-day tour, key components of watch construction were observed, emphasizing the connection between Tudor and its movement manufacture, Kenissi. The tour showcased the journey from raw materials to fully functioning watches, reinforcing the credibility of the term "Swiss Made" in the watch industry. While there were opportunities to explore more suppliers, the visit successfully highlighted the major components involved in watchmaking. In addition, A. Lange & Söhne has opened a new boutique in Sydney, adopting a retail strategy that enhances the customer experience of purchasing their luxury watches. The three-floor boutique features all major watch lines and offers private consultation spaces, a social bar area, and a display called the Wall of Parts showcasing the components of the Triple Split movement. This new space aims to replicate the experience of visiting the original Glashütte location, allowing customers to engage with the brand's horological excellence without needing to travel.
