Unimatic Releases The Modello Cinque UT5-TANC Collaboration with Nigel Cabourn and The Armoury
Unimatic has unveiled the Modello Cinque UT5-TANC, a military-inspired watch resulting from a collaboration with fashion designer Nigel Cabourn and the retailer The Armoury. This marks the second partnership between Cabourn and Unimatic, showcasing two vintage-military-inspired variants of the Modello Cinque. Both models feature a 36mm stainless steel case, with one sporting a forest-green Cerakote finish and the other in navy blue. They come equipped with a blue dial adorned with Arabic numerals, orange accents, and a unique lumed seconds hand. These timepieces are designed for durability and functionality, housing the Seiko VH31A quartz movement within a robust case that meets MIL-STD-810H standards. The watches have a power reserve of approximately two years and deliver an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. Each variant is complemented by a reverse-color nylon strap, enhancing their vintage aesthetic. With only 150 individually numbered pieces available at €660 each, these watches are expected to sell out quickly among fans of all three brands involved in the collaboration.
