Union Glashütte 1893 Johannes Dürrstein Anniversary Editions
Union Glashütte celebrates the 180th anniversary of its founder with the launch of two new models in the 1893 Johannes Dürrstein Anniversary Editions, available in Large Second (41mm) and Small Second (34mm) variations. These watches embody fine Saxon craftsmanship and design excellence, featuring a taupe-toned dial with intricate textures and heat-blued hands that reflect traditional finishing techniques. The Large Second model offers an off-centered hours and minutes display alongside a prominent seconds display, while the Small Second presents a classic subsidiary seconds dial, both housed in stainless steel cases with water resistance of 100m and 50m, respectively. Both models are powered by automatic Union calibres, derived from ETA architectures, and provide a 42-hour power reserve along with a date display. Each watch is secured with a black calfskin leather strap and a double-fold clasp. Limited to 99 pieces each, the Large Second is priced at EUR 1,960 and the Small Second at EUR 1,780, available individually or as a collector’s set.
