Vacheron Constantin and Phillips to Stage Horological Concours
Vacheron Constantin has announced its inaugural Concours d’Élégance Horlogère in partnership with Phillips, marking a unique competition for collectors of VC timepieces. Set to take place in 2026, the competition features seven categories, including chiming watches and astronomical complications, allowing owners of VC watches from 1755 to 1999 to participate. Registration is open until April 30, 2026, with winners to be announced on November 10, 2026. The jury, led by VC’s heritage director Christian Selmoni and Phillips’ Aurel Bacs, consists of a diverse group of experts from the watch industry. This competition adapts the classic Concours d’Élégance format, typically associated with vintage automobiles, to the realm of horology, creating an engaging spectacle for VC fans. By hosting this event, Vacheron Constantin fosters a closer connection with its collectors while showcasing its rich historical portfolio. The initiative not only highlights the brand’s significant heritage but also provides a platform for a wide range of interesting watches, encouraging participation from enthusiasts and collectors alike.
