Vacheron Constantin Launches First-Ever Concours d'Élégance Horlogère in Partnership with Phillips

Vacheron Constantin has introduced the first-ever Concours d'Élégance Horlogère, a unique competition in the watchmaking industry developed in collaboration with Phillips and Bacs & Russo. This event invites collectors around the world to submit pocket and wristwatches made between 1755 and 1999 for evaluation by an esteemed international jury. Registration for the competition opens on January 19 and continues until April 30, 2026, with prizes awarded on November 10, 2026, in Geneva. The competition will assess submissions based on nine criteria, including authenticity, elegance, and technical achievement, across seven distinct categories. The initiative aims to deepen Vacheron Constantin's engagement with the collector community while honoring its 270-year heritage. The event emphasizes recognition of craftsmanship and historical significance over commercial gain, with awards presented as trophies rather than monetary prizes. Aurel Bacs and Christian Selmoni co-chair the jury, which comprises notable figures in horology. The collaboration with Phillips ensures a rigorous evaluation process, celebrating the rich diversity of Vacheron Constantin's historical production and fostering connections within exclusive collector communities.
