Venezianico has launched the Nereide GMT Xi’an, a limited edition watch celebrating the historical Silk Road, which connects Europe and East Asia. This model features a striking red mother-of-pearl dial with a mosaic cloud pattern, symbolizing good fortune in Chinese culture. The watch incorporates a rotating bezel with a 24-hour scale in Chinese numerals, allowing it to display multiple time zones simultaneously, a nod to the diverse regions along the Silk Road. The design merges Italian aesthetics with Japanese craftsmanship, housing a Miyota 9075 automatic movement. With a case diameter of 39mm and water resistance of 100m, the Nereide GMT Xi’an is both functional and stylish. Limited to just 500 pieces, it is priced at approximately $1,095 and includes an engraving of the Chinese Terracotta Army on the caseback.
