Weston Jewelers' world: the making of one of the US' biggest watch showrooms
Weston Jewelers, originally a small 1,000 square foot store in Fort Lauderdale, has grown into one of the largest watch and jewelry retailers in the U.S. under the leadership of Ed Dikes and his family. They have expanded from a single location to multiple showrooms, including a prominent one at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The Dikes family is now embarking on an ambitious project to create a 40,707 square foot flagship showroom on East Las Olas Boulevard, which will feature over 30,500 square feet of retail space and a rooftop café. This new location aims to capture the growing affluent market in Fort Lauderdale, supported by high-end brands like Rolex, Omega, and David Yurman. The planned showroom will incorporate a variety of luxury brands across different floors, each designed to provide a unique shopping experience while maintaining a cohesive and intimate atmosphere. The building will include private rooms for clients and is designed to enhance the purchasing experience through natural light and a comfortable environment. Groundbreaking is anticipated for March 2026, with the goal of opening the showroom by December 2027. The Dikes family is committed to creating a destination that combines luxury shopping with a memorable customer experience, highlighting the burgeoning watch and jewelry scene in Fort Lauderdale.
