Winnerl Unveils the Heart Return: A Limited Edition Timepiece Inspired by Historical Marine Chronometers
Winnerl has unveiled its second model, the Heart Return, which pays homage to its legacy as a renowned 19th-century Austrian watchmaker. This limited edition features only 12 pieces and integrates advanced mechanics inspired by historical marine chronometers. The Heart Return showcases a distinctive design with a small seconds indicator at 12 o’clock and a unique jumping power reserve display at 6 o’clock, calibrated for 49 hours. The watch's movement halts the balance wheel during the final three hours of the power reserve to enhance performance and accuracy, all while housed in an elegant 39.9 mm steel case with a dial made from a single piece of crystallized titanium. The Heart Return is available in two limited editions: a grey dial version and a deep blue dial version, each limited to six pieces. The hand-wound calibre CW03 movement comprises 238 components and 47 jewels, featuring a zero-reset mechanism for precise time-setting. This exclusive watch represents the pinnacle of artisanal craftsmanship, with intricate details and a high level of decoration that distinguishes it within the luxury watch market. While the price has not been disclosed, it is anticipated to be in the six-figure range, reflecting its unique craftsmanship and limited availability.
Buying Time Analysis: The introduction of the Winnerl Heart Return marks a significant step in the revival of artisanal watchmaking, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship, innovative mechanical features, and limited availability that appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
