Baltic and SpaceOne Collaborate on the Seconde Majeure Watch

The collaboration between Baltic and SpaceOne brings together Baltic’s vintage‑inspired aesthetic and SpaceOne’s futuristic design language to create the Seconde Majeure Jumping Hour watch. Built around a unique jumping‑hour module designed by Théo Auffret, the watch features a 38.5 mm 904L stainless‑steel case, a brushed middle case, polished bezel, and a distinctive crown positioned at 12 o’clock. Its dial is replaced by two sapphire crystal discs that display hours, minutes and seconds in an innovative layout, while the module’s mainplate is finished either with a brushed or hand‑applied charbonné technique, giving each piece a singular character. The timepiece is powered by an automatic Soprod P024 movement, offering a 4 Hz frequency and a 42‑hour power reserve. It will be available for pre‑order from 12 to 17 May 2026, with prices of €2,500 for the brushed version and €3,500 for the charbonné version. Limited production is determined by the number of orders placed during the six‑day window, making the watch a rare blend of classic design, sci‑fi flair, and independent watchmaking craftsmanship.

Buying Time Analysis: This story highlights a groundbreaking collaboration between Baltic and SpaceOne, showcasing innovative watchmaking that blends vintage design with futuristic technology, offering a limited‑edition timepiece that pushes indie watchmaking boundaries while remaining relatively affordable.
