Hermès at Watches & Wonders 2026 with Laurent Dordet, CEO of Hermès Horloger - YouTube - Revolution Watch
Hermès showcased its latest innovations at Watches & Wonders 2026, guided by CEO Laurent Dordet, who emphasized the brand’s focus on “mysterious mechanisms” and a more transparent, technical approach to watchmaking. The event highlighted the H08 Squelette, a 39 mm black DLC sand‑blasted titanium case featuring a ceramic bezel, an open‑worked graphic dial, and the new H1978 S self‑winding skeleton movement with a 4 Hz frequency and approximately 60 hours of power reserve. The model is available with blue or grey Super‑Luminova numerals and paired with woven‑pattern rubber straps in various colors. Another centerpiece was the Arceau Samarcande, a revival of the Arceau line as a minute repeater powered by the H1927 S skeleton movement equipped with a micro‑rotor. Its dials are crafted from Saint‑Louis crystal in white or blue, complemented by a horse‑head‑shaped sapphire cut‑out, while the sapphire caseback displays intricate finishing techniques such as bevels, mirror polish, satin, brushed, and bead‑blasted textures. These releases underscore Hermès’ dedication to combining haute horology with bold design and technical mastery.
