Studio Underd0g Launches The D0ghouse Watchmaking Workshop
Studio Underd0g has launched The D0ghouse, a fully operational watchmaking workshop in Maidenhead that brings all stages of watch assembly in-house for the first time in the brand’s five‑year history. The new facility, now owned outright after acquiring the former Horologium stake and Christopher Ward’s old headquarters, enables the company to control production of its growing output, which already exceeds 14,000 watches annually, and represents a seven‑figure investment in British watchmaking. The D0ghouse also serves as a visitor experience, offering free 45‑minute showroom sessions three days a week and a paid Assembly Experience where guests can build and keep their own watch for £700. Exclusive pieces such as the Guava 01SERIES edition are available only at the workshop, and bookings for the new space opened on June 18th.
Buying Time Analysis: Studio Underd0g’s opening of The D0ghouse marks a pivotal shift to fully in‑house watch assembly, boosting production capacity, offering unique guest experiences, and underscoring a major investment in British watchmaking.
