Panerai Marks 100 Years in Florence with Luminor Firenze 8‑Day PAM01734 and PAM01794

Panerai commemorates a century of its Florence boutique with the release of two limited‑edition Luminor Firenze 8 Giorni watches, the PAM01734 in Platinumtech and the PAM01794 in polished steel. Both models reinterpret a rare 1960s prototype, offering a more wearable 44 mm case while retaining the iconic cushion‑shaped middle case and a domed sapphire crystal. The Platinumtech version features a green dial, gold‑effect hands, and an open caseback, limited to 100 pieces at EUR 55,000, whereas the steel version presents a black dial with blue‑finished hands, a closed caseback, and a 300 m water resistance, limited to 1,000 pieces at EUR 10,700. Powered by the hand‑wound P.5000 calibre, each watch provides an impressive eight‑day (192‑hour) power reserve and incorporates 113 components, including two barrels and a Glucydur balance. Both are equipped with Tuscan calfskin straps embossed with the Florentine lily, complemented by optional rubber straps, and are presented in mahogany boxes with metal plaques depicting the historic boutique entrance. The watches will be available in Panerai boutiques worldwide starting September 2026.

Buying Time Analysis: This story marks Panerai’s centennial presence in Florence, highlighting the brand’s heritage while introducing exclusive limited‑edition Luminor Firenze 8‑day watches that blend historic design with modern craftsmanship.
